On March 9th 2025, a sunny Sunday in Kettering, Johnny’s supporters came together to run a half marathon or 5K in his memory, starting and ending in the beautiful Wicksteed Park. A merry gang of 75 runners, many of us more unfit than we’d care to admit, tackled a hilly course filled with laughter and sweat. The journey was made all the more special by the amazing supporters lining the roads and villages, keeping spirits and sugar intake high from start to finish!

While no records were broken (at least not by me!), the day was a true celebration of friendship, community, and the lasting impact of our dear friend Johnny. We’re all sure that he was watching from above, having a good chuckle at the sight of all his mates huffing and puffing.

This event was a wonderful opportunity to bring together the many social circles Johnny touched – friends from junior school, pony club, senior schools, rugby clubs, family, neighbours and so many more.

A massive thank you to the Reynolds family for all their strength, love, and energy that brought us all together. Bring on next year!
