At 9:30am on Sunday 6th April, Henry Potter and myself, Will Baird, crossed the start line of the Brighton Marathon in memory of Johnny and in support of the wonderful foundation in his name.

Despite varying levels of preparation, we decided – largely inspired by the offer of a double donation if we did – to run the 26.2 miles in full cricket whites. We hoped this would be something Johnny would have approved of and better in line with the ethos of charity. With a hardy but essential support crew of two, we both managed to get round together (mostly) in one piece and we were both very grateful to have received some donations for our effort to put towards the foundation.
