About Johnny
…Johnny
Born in October 2004, Alexander John Reynolds (Jub, Johnny, John Boi) entered the world making his presence felt – he didn’t sleep properly for the first 2 years as was quite determined not to miss out on anything that was going on in his life or anything else around him.
He very quickly followed in his brother’s passion of anything related to agriculture or anything that was sports related as long as it involved lots of friends along the way.
He adored being busy whether it was doing all things boys should at home on a farm, playing with friends, annoying his mother or laughing and winding up his elder brother, constantly.
He liked school but he didn’t love it – it was a place to go to meet more friends, get through the academic side of things and get outside onto the sports fields, pitches and courts.
He would certainly have a go at everything with a beaming smile on his face, not being much good at some activities but taking part and having fun was most important to him. His burgeoning talent on the rugby field was quickly apparent from tag rugby as a 5 year old to scoring his try at Twickenham in the U18’s school championship – his love of the game and the friendships he made through the sport were clear from the outset.
After successfully completing his A levels and securing a place to study Agriculture and Business Management as a degree he decided a gap year to Australia to further his knowledge of farming and explore the country to widen his horizons was a chance not to be missed.
Having finished a successful harvest for a family farm, and about to travel north to meet his beloved friends to continue the adventure he passed away in his sleep on 9th December 2023,
He was about to embark on the next part of his exciting journey, having the time of his life and living his dream……
We all miss him dearly, – if his foundation can give just a small part of his lust for life, his humbleness, his hard working attitude and happiness to a deserving person it will have achieved its aim!
